Apple or Peach Crisp
 
A Francie Heady Recipe
(June 14, 1910 - September 2, 1975)
 
4 Cups sliced Apples or Peaches
     (or No. 2 1/2 Can Peaches drained)
2 Tablespoons Water
1/4 to 1/2 Cup Sugar, depending on tartness of fruit
 
1 1/4 Cups Bisquick
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Egg Beaten
1/2 Cup Sugar
 
Heat oven to 400 .  Place fruit in 10 X 6 baking dish, sprinkle with water and sugar. Mix Bisquick, Sugar, Spices and pour Egg on slowly, stirring constantly, until crumbly.   Sprinkle over Fruit.  Dot with Butter.  Bake about 25 minutes.
 
Serve hot or cold with milk or cream.
