JEFFCOATS IN THE CIVIL WAR

The Jeffcoats give account of themselves in the Civil War of 1861 - 1865. On the Memorial Monument erected at Lexington Courthouse to the Civil Ward dead are three Jeffcoats - A. Jeffcoat, B. Jeffcoat, and B. L. Jeffcoat. Ben Jeffcoat is recorded with those at Orangeburg Courthouse. This Ben is Benjamin J. P.
