reason for funding your 401 K to the MAX, or do financial planning for
your future. . . Please meet 33 year old Angel, who makes his living in
Puerto Vallarta giving foot massage on the beach.
He tells me he has other wares, but I'm a grandmother of 6
for goodness sake. He wanted to take me to dinner and Salsa
dancing, but I explained that I was now taking responsibility in my
life, and no longer do I take
the youth of young boys. |
But if a
gal were wise, she could continue funding her
401K to the MAX, and
someday she could return to Puerto Vallarta and say,
"Angel, it's time to rub the bunions."

. Life is good. . .he tried to tempt me with other wares,
but this is a family vacation for goodness sakes.
The next day, we returned to the beach. . .After all, I
had a plan! I had found Puerto Vallarta to be a
place of
healing, and Angel was part of my plan. There are many poor
local women, and
all have sore feet. Their children trying helping them
make a
living by selling little dolls for 10 pesos each (about
$1.11 US).
I planned to
sit a few poor
women in chairs, and pay Angel to massage their
feet. I wanted
to buy all the little dolls the children had so the women
wouldn't worry.
Angel would be paid for rubbing their feet and taken care
of, and the women would have
healing, and a few beans on the table at the end of the
day.
We all seemed so connected in Puerto Vallarta. Life
is so very special in it's simplicity. And America
seemed so very
far away!
