| It's no secret Lake Tahoe
offers a number of recreational opportunities on a year round basis.
However, yesterday I quickly noticed one of the usual landmarks, Lake
Tahoe Golf Course, was nowhere to be seen. The reason - It was
covered with snow, and during these winter months is used for a
completely different activity - Snowmobiling. In the Tahoe Basin there are several places that offer this activity to those interested. The pictures above were taken at Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours (Tahoe Golf Course), 2500 Emerald Bay Road (Highway 50), South Shore - Lake Tahoe.
